I loved our room. It was large enough with lots of natural light from 3 windows, well appointed with a nice mix of modern and antique furniture, the bedding was very comfortable. A large closet, a little bar and refrigerator was a plus. We used our covered porch with cozy chairs a lot. The pool area is a nice retreat in the hot afternoons. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. I loved the free coffee selection in the morning, all types of teas, the ice water throughout the day, and a place to refill your water bottles. In the afternoon we were treated to free cocktails. The daily cleaning service was very nice and the bathroom was appointed with high-end european Argan Oil cream, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. It was a joy to be in such a well renovated and updated historic lodge which is such a different experience from the usual business hotel. The walk to the nearby bakery for breakfast, historic down town, and the historic port area was very enjoyable and healthy for us. We will be back.

Highly recommend Fitch Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Lee at the front desk made us feel right at home with her sweet demeanor and helpful tips. The room was spotless and the location can't be beat. A huge thank you to Sky and the management for being so accommodating when the weather forced us to change our travel plans. Their kindness made a stressful situation much easier. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Great location in Old Key West, few minutes walk to Duval Street which is Main Street. Many local bars and restaurants, rum distilleries and more. Hotel an Historic Inn and signs of ware and tear, small rooms but comfortable. Would recommend for location.

Excellent gem within Key West. The location of the Fitch Lodge was perfect. Just far enough away from town to be quiet yet close enough to walk to everything. Quick 5 minute walk along the docks to the waterfront restaurants leading towards Mallory Square, less than 30 minute walk to the opposite end of the island to the southernmost point & the white sand beach area (including the dog beach!) Our biggest decision when booking with Fitch Lodge is they are dog friendly- for the associated (by reasonable) daily fee. Their pet policies listed on the ‘pet parent agreement’ signed at check-in even mentioned the front desk has crates available for use should pup needed to be left alone for a short time. When considering traveling with our pups, we reviewed the availability of hotels with pet fees (along with size restriction (ours pups are not pocket sized) & many limiting 1 pup per room) versus using a pet sitter in the area on Rover. There are limited, but available, Rover boarding & day daycare providers but Key West is top notch for being pet friendly when walking about exploring, the dedicated dog beach, plentiful restaurant options (anywhere with an open patio seating welcomed us with enthusiasm to eat with the pups & every restaurant brought the pups iced water without us even asking, sometimes even in an actual pup bowl- so clearly not their first rodeo) and patrons enjoyed loving on our pups, often stating they missed theirs that were at home. If considering visiting Key West & enjoying it with your pup, highly recommended it & staying at Fitch Lodge. Room was excellent for being a more budget friendly option within the Key West accommodation options, which can get pretty lavish (with associated increased costs). King bedroom had plenty of room for us & pups. Our bed was very comfortable. AC worked great. Hot water was perfect. Being product sensitive due to sensitive skin/allergies the chosen amenities (soap, shampoo, lotion, etc) were perfect choice on their part. Room was spotless clean, housekeeping staff were fabulous. In room mini fridge & above cabinet to store food items were a much appreciated to keep drinks cold & snacks nicely stored away. Cable TV had great channel selections for a little bit of everything, to include being able to watch the current Summer Olympics. Only thing we noticed was the floor grout in the shower probably needs a good scrubbing with a mold cleaning product, but the shower (and entire room) was otherwise was spotless clean & ample space. The hotel amenities were a nice & much appreciated touch- they have available water & ice machine which was well used by us with reusable water bottles. The pool was quiet and private. Parking- there is limited free street parking (most spots are for resident parking) but not impossible to find within a short walking distance, which is what we utilized. There is a nearby parking garage but believe is just shy of $50/day and height restrictions of 7-7’1” (not oversized vehicle friendly). If street parking is unavailable, highly recommend utilizing the nearby (2 blocks) open lot parking lot (808 Southard) for $15/ day parking rate (cash only- listed on Google Maps as ‘Key West Parking Lot’). Majority of staff were pleasant, especially the housekeeping staff & the young gentleman who met us & completed our after hours check in. Thank you Fitch Lodge for the great accommodations during our Key West visit!

From the moment I arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation and turned a simple stay into a genuinely memorable experience. The property itself is beautiful, and effortlessly comfortable — Every detail, from the atmosphere to the service, reflects care, intention, and pride. What truly elevated the stay, though, was the exceptional hospitality from Skye. She was nothing short of incredible. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, Skye’s communication was outstanding from start to finish. When confirming our stay, I mentioned that we would be arriving well before check-in and if we could store our bags. Without hesitation, she asked if we’d prefer an earlier room and what time we’d arrive. As this communication was a day before, she said that a room was already being held for when we got to the property. The room that she saved was far better than what I had expected and would specifically ask for it again. My opinion of not just Fitch Lodge, but of the whole hotel group is made by my experience with Skye. It’s rare to encounter someone who blends professionalism with such authentic friendliness, and she absolutely set the tone for the entire stay in Key West. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect retreat after the day. This is the kind of hotel that stays with you long after you check out—because of the people, and the feeling that you were genuinely taken care of. Thanks in large part to Skye, this stay was exceptional, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a truly top-tier hotel.

They have cold water in the lobby for the hot humid days, good housing and bedding. Some of the rooms across the street that they own could use some improvements but other than that, a great place to stay and rest away from the humid heat. In a perfect spot too, you can take a nice walk to the downtown area in less than 5 minutes and it's next to the ferry for those visiting through the ferry.

Nice quiet rooms, in an area you can walk everywhere. Pool is small but adequate. Appreciated the morning hot drink service. And afternoon cocktail. Unfortunately my booking information said breakfast included, which when looking at cost, it factors in....but they do not offer breakfast. Just a 10 pct discount at a nearby bakery. Even just fresh fruit would have been nice.
